Flight Connections 2019

2019 comes with a couple new flight connections, both international and national ones.

New domestic destinations like Guapi, Corozal or Puero Asís and international destinations like Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, or Toronto, Canada are operated from various Colombian airports.

By extending their network, the national airlines want to improve the tourist infrastructure and at the same time create new jobs.

Neues Sozialprojekt Via Cocina – für alle Foodies ein Muss

Wir haben eine neue, hoch interessante Aktivität in Medellin entdeckt: ein soziales Erlebnis, gekrönt von einem selbstzubereitetem Mittagessen, ein Muss für alle, die authentische, kulturelle Erfahrungen suchen.

Der Koch Brian Johnston hat die NGO Via Cocina ins Leben gerufen, ein Projekt bei dem einkommensschwachen Kolumbianern Kochstunden erhalten. Brian bringt den Teilnehmern bei, aus lokalen Produkten gesundes Essen aus der ganzen Welt zuzubereiten und zu erschwinglichen Preisen zu verkaufen. Der kanadische Koch hat das Projekt vor einigen Jahren ins Leben gerufen und alle Spenden, die durch den Besuch eurer Kunden erzielt werden in das Gemeinschaftsprojekt investiert, so dass Kosten für Ausbildung, Material und Equipment gedeckt werden können. In der Kochstunde lernen die Kunden alles über die lokalen Zutaten und deren Anwendungen in köstlichen lokalen Gerichten. Die Kochstunde findet zusammen mit Leuten aus der Nachbarschaft statt, wodurch die Kunden eine einmalige kulinarisch-kulturelle Erfahrung gewinnen.

Vorgehensweise in Notfällen

Auch wenn wir es uns natürlich alle wünschen, so lassen sich Notfälle - vom verspäteten Transfer bis hin zu medizinischen Notfällen – leider nie 100% vermeiden.

Um für diese Situation bestenes vorbereitet zu sein, arbeiten wir stetig daran, unser Vorgehen in diesen Fällen zu optimieren. Durch Ablaufpläne, Schulungen, etc stellen wir sicher, dass wir in Notfall-Situation schnell und effektiv agieren und reagieren können.

Um alle nötigen Infos schnell verfügbar zu haben, bitten wir auch euch um Mithilfe in Form der folgenden Informationen:

2. Die Record Nummern der von euch ausgestellten Flüge
3. Falls wir auf euren ersten Anruf nicht geantwortet haben, bitte versucht es weiter

Bitte gebt an, ob diese Nummer 24/7 erreichbar ist. Falls nicht, lasst uns wissen, auf welchem Wege wir euch ansonsten schnellst möglich erreichen können.

Zu 2.)

Oft kommt es vor, dass sich die Kunden bei Problemen, die es bei Flügen, die von euch ausgestellt wurden (sowohl internationale wie auch nationale), an uns als lokalen Ansprechpartner wenden und uns leider die nötigen Infos fehlen um die Buchung einzusehen und agieren zu können. Um hier schnell handeln zu können, bitten wir euch, uns in Zukunft zu den Buchungs-Details auch die Record Nummer aller von euch ausgestellten Flüge mitzusenden.

Zu 3.)

Wir sind immer darum bemüht eure Anrufe umgehend entgegenzunehmen. Aufgrund von schlechtem Netz, anderen eingehenden Anrufen, etc, kann es allerdings vorkommen, dass wir euren ersten Anruf nicht sofort beantworten können. In diesem Fall bitten wir euch dringend, es weitere etwa 5 - 10 Minuten bei uns zu versuchen, bis wir den Anruf entgegen nehmen können.

To have all information handy within seconds, we ask for your support. Please provide us with the following information:

2. The record number of flights issued by you
3. In case we don´t answer the first call, please keep trying

Please let us know if the provided number is reachable 24/7.  If not, let us know howelse we cna get in touch as quickly as possible.

It happens that clients, when facing problems with flights (both international and national) issued by you, contact us as their local contact although we don´t have the information needed to solve the problem. To be able to act quickly, we kindly ask you to provide us with the record number of all the flights issued by you for future bookings.

Spotted: Via Cocina - a Social Project for Foodies

We discovered a new and highly interesting activity in Medellin, a social experience garnished by a tasty self-prepared lunch, a must do for everybody seeking authentic cultural experiences.

Chef Brian Johnston, set up Via Cocina, an NGO, providing cooking classes for low income Colombians. He teaches them to cook and sell healthy food from around the globe, at affordable prices using local products. The Canadian chef set up this unique food project several years ago and all funds generated through your visit are reinvested in the community project, subsidizing the training, materials and equipment for low-income project participants, and maintenance for the training centre. Take a cooking class yourself, learn about local ingredients and how to prepare delicious food from them. You cook together with people from the local neighbourhood and experience an authentic cultural-culinary Medellín moment.
