The pandemic is not yet completely over, but with increasing numbers of vaccinated and recovered citizens, "normal life" is slowly returning worldwide and the desire to travel is picking up quickly!

 
Here in Colombia, this trend is also clearly evident, and daily life as well as tourism in the country feel more and more "normal".

1. NATIONAL STRIKE

There are still very few ocasional, local protests, but the situation in the country has calmed down and touristic activities are not affected.

2. CORONA

Entry requirements:

Already since June 1st, 2021, the only mandatory entry requirement is the online registration at Check-Mig, through the homepage of the Colombian migration office!

A negative test result is not required.

Attention: Although the country of Colombia no longer requires a negative PCR test, various airlines still do! Please consult with your airline before travelling.

General information:

• Case numbers have decreased remarkably recently and experts assume that they won´t go up soon.
• vaccinations: about 30% of the population is completely vaccinated, about 43% already got their first shot 
• possible restrictions are adjusted dynamically according to the occupancy of the local ICUs
• borders are open for international tourism 
• tourism infrastructure is intact
