1. NATIONAL STRIKE
There are still very few ocasional, local protests, but the situation in the country has calmed down and touristic activities are not affected.
2. CORONA
Entry requirements:
Already since June 1st, 2021, the only mandatory entry requirement is the online registration at Check-Mig, through the homepage of the Colombian migration office!
A negative test result is not required.
Attention: Although the country of Colombia no longer requires a negative PCR test, various airlines still do! Please consult with your airline before travelling.
General information:
- Case numbers have decreased remarkably recently and experts assume that they won´t go up soon.
- vaccinations: about 30% of the population is completely vaccinated, about 43% already got their first shot
- possible restrictions are adjusted dynamically according to the occupancy of the local ICUs
- borders are open for international tourism
- tourism infrastructure is intact
