For clients who simply don´t have the time to visit the main coffee regions or for those looking to explore new, alternative destinations, we offer a tour of 1 – 2 days to Finca La Palma y El Tucán in Zipacón. Getting there is about a 2 hour drive from Bogotá and the finca is located in the middle of a coffee plantation in the heart of Cundinamarca´s breathtaking Andean landscape.
During this coffee tour and/or overnight stay, clients are literally in the middle of the coffee-theme and not merely spectators.
The finca can be visited during a 1- or 2-day tour from Bogotá, as well as during a stopover on the way to Honda and/or Medellín.
To give you an idea, you find a brief description of the 1-day tour in the following:
In the morning you start the 2 hour journey to Zipacón, where you will get to know the coffee Finca La Palma & El Tucan, which is located right in the middle of a beautiful mountainous landscape with nice climate.
Live the unique and educational experience walking around the finca accompanied by an experienced guide. Get to know the daily activities on the coffee finca at first hand - a finca whose special coffee received awards in the most prestigious, international contests. Visit the coffee nursery, the germination boxes, the drying area, the laboratory of degustation and the coffee plantations with the most exotic varieties. You will get to know in person the team, that is responsible for this work and will end this experience with the tasting of the final product, a delicious cup of fresh coffee.
