We would like to take this opportunity to take a minor action to protect our environment.
As some of you might still remember, Neptuno supports a local project called Bioparque La Reserva, which is passionately dedicated to protecting the local flora and fauna as well as to raising awareness and educating its visitors about this matter (for more info please see February´s article).
One very important project of the park is the caretaking of animals that became victims of illegal traffic. These animals are brought to the park by the environmental authorities. Bioparque looks after them and in the best case achieves that they are able to survive on their own again in the wild.
You might wonder, how this is related to Neptuno, yourself and the upcoming World Earth Day...
*For all bookings, made between the 22nd – 26th of April 2019, we will donate 1% of the value of the booking to Bioparque La Reserva. This donation will be used solely for the caretaking of these abandoned animals.
*1 becomes 2 – If, in the name of mother nature, your agency would like to make a little contribution, we invite you to double our 1% and by that donate together 2% of the value of the booking to the park.
*In addition to the financial aid, we would be happy to send even more interested customers to this impressive and educational place, which is why we give a 10% discount on daytours to Bioparque La Reserva, booked between de 22nd – 26th of April 2019.

On the occasion of World Earth Day, we would like to share this brief anecdote with you…
One day a huge woodland was suddenly engulfed by a raging wild fire. Frightened, all the animals fled their homes and ran out of the forest. They were all bemoaning the destruction of their homes. Every one of them thought there was nothing they could do about the fire, except for one little hummingbird. This particular hummingbird swooped into the stream and picked up a few drops of water and went into the forest and put them on the fire. All the other animals watched in disbelief and laughed at it. "What do you think you are doing, you fool?"
And the hummingbird replied: "I am doing what I can!"
