Neptuno offers a variety of SIB Tours which we would like to inform you about and to keep you posted on their current booking status.

SIB tours are not only a great opportunity to participate in a fully organized tour at an economic price, but also a great experience to get to know Colombia in a group of like-minded travellers.

At the moment we offer the following tours in English (detailed descriptions on our homepage):

Action and Adventure – 22 Days
For all the adventurous clients, who prefer travelling in groups, we have just the right thing to offer: our 22 days SIB tour “Action and Adventure”. The tour takes you through impressive mountain landscapes and terminates in the beautiful colonial town of Cartagena.
Tourstops: Bogota – Villa de Leyva – National Park Los Nevados – Manizales – Santa Marta – Lost City “Ciudad Perdida” – Cartagena 

Colombia Authentic – 15 Days
We start in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, afterwards you explore the hot, sleepy city of Neiva and then San Agustín, where you will get to see ancient volcanic statues. From there on you will travel to Popayán, a small colonial town, and further to the Coffee Region, where you will enjoy a caffeine fueled, coffee tasting adventure. The journey will then take you to Medellín, which is famous for its stylish restaurants and legendary nightlife, and last but not least to the beautifully preserved colonial old town of Cartagena.

World Travel Mart in London

Kommenden Monat, vom 5. – 7. November, findet in London die jährliche World Travel Mart Messe statt.

Inspektionsreise Entlang Des Magdalena-Flusses

Im September hat sich eine Gruppe von Kollegen auf eine Tour entlang des Magdalena-Flusses begeben, um die verschiedene Ziele auf dieser Route zu erkunden.

Die Tour startete in Bogota und endete in Cartagena, mit Sopps in Honda, Barrancabermeja, Mompox, San Jacinto und San Basilio de Palenque.  

Auf unserem ersten Halt in Honda erkundeten wir die schöne Kolonialstadt, unternahmen eine Tour zur Verlorenen Stadt Falan und arbeiteten an unseren Angelkünsten auf einer Angeltour der typischen. Von Honda aus machten wir uns auf den Weg nach Barrancabermeja, von wo aus man hoch interessante Touren wie Birdwatching an den Cienagas (Nebenflüssen) oder Kakaotouren in El Carmen de Chucurri machen kann. Zu unserem nächten Tourstopp, Mompox, gelangten wir mit einer Lancha (Schnellboot) und zwei kleinen Fähren, die uns flussabwärts auf dem Magdalena-Fluss trugen. Wir erkundeten die Stadt und ließen uns von der kolonialen Architektur beeindrucken. Außerdem nahmen wir an einem Workshop über filigrane Kunst teil und besuchten die Cienagas (Nebenflüsse) von Mompox. An den Cienagas kann man sich im kühlen Wasser erfrischen, Vögel und andere wildlebende Tiere beobachten und einfach das authentische Leben der Einheimischen erfahren. Auf unserem Weg nach Cartagena hielten wir in den Orten San Jacinto und San Basilio de Palenque. In San Jacinto entdeckten wir eine Vielfalt an lokaler Handwerkskunst und in San Basilio de Palenque, was Weltkulturerbe ist, wurden wir durch den Ort geführt und lernten viel über die Kultur und das Leben der afrikanischen Gemeinschaft. 

Die Tour entlang der Flusses hat uns extrem gut gefallen und wir können sie wärmsten für Klienten empfehlen, die bereits Reiseerfahrung haben und nach einer Komination aus authentischen, kulturellen Erfahrungen, einem Hauch Abenteuer und komfortablen Unterkünften suchen.
