NEPTUNO AND COLOMBIA - HELLO 2022

Also in the new year we want to keep you and your customers up to date as usual, and therefore have the latest information about the current travel situation to / in Colombia for you in the following:

1. Entry requirements as of December 14th 2021:

• valid proof of at least one dose of a Covid 19-vaccination, which has been applied within minimum 14 days before departure
• in case the traveller has only on shot at the moment of departure, a negative PCR test, not older than 72 hours before departure, is required*
• online registration at Check-Mig, through the homepage of the Colombian migration office

*Exception: vaccine Janssen

2. General information:

• Case numbers have increased slightly after NYE, but so far there are barely any severe cases reported.
• vaccinations: about 76% of the population already got at least their first vaccination shot, about 56% is completely vaccinated and about 7% already got an additional shot
• possible restrictions are adjusted dynamically according to the occupancy of the local ICUs
• facemasks are compulsory at all times
• a valid vaccination certificate is required to enter most sites and attractions, including e.g. restaurants, museums and national parks.
• borders are open for international tourism 
• tourism infrastructure is intact
• national and international flights are operating
