TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF MEDELLIN AIRPORT

Important information for all travelers in and around Medellin in February:

Due to maintenance work, José María Córdova Airport will closed its main runway from February 19^th to 20^th and from February 26^th to 27^th 2022!

According to the latest information, the airport will be closed at the following times for each date:
February 19^th 02:00 am - February 20^th 02:00 pm
February 26^th 02:00 am - February 27^th 02:00 pm

The head of the airport Jaramillo explains the temporary closure as follows:
"We are aware of the inconvenience this may cause to some of our passengers, but for us, safety and quality of service must come first. We ask all passengers to check their flight connections and, in case they have booked a flight for those days, to double check with the airline for the new flight schedule."
