DAY 1:
Nuqui - Cabañas Beto y Marta
Pick up
by your English speaking guide at Nuquí airport. from here it´s an about 50
minutes speedboat ride to your accommodation Cabaña Beto y Marta.
After an
introduction at the hotel and a delicious lunch, the activities of the
following days will be discussed (the order of the activities is flexible,
partly depending on the climate).
The
charming accommodation, with only 4 cabanas and a stunning garden, is located
directly on the beach and is the perfect place to immerse yourself in nature
and disconnect.
DAY 2: Cabañas

After
waking up to the sounds of the rainforest and the ocean, have breakfast before
heading to the village of Termales. The walk along the beach takes about 1.5 h
and you might cross little creeks and rocks. You will get to see some locals on
their way to work, local fishermen in their traditional canoes and the chance
to go for a refreshing swim whenever you feel like it. In Termales you
experience the local life and can visit the the pretty hot springs (entrance
not included).
When you are finished exploring the village, you head back to the hotel for
lunch. The afternoon is free to enjoy the beach and the hotel or activities
like surfing, kayaking, snorkelling, etc (not included).
DAY 3: Cabañas

Today we
recommend to have your guide take you along the beach to the Waterfall Cascada
del Amor located about 30 min from the hotel. Going up to the waterfall you
will cross the creek every now and then, so be prepared to get your feet wet.
Duration:
aprox. 1.5 hours
Back at the hotel you are served lunch and have the afternoon free to spend it
as you please.
DAY 4: Cabañas
Beto y Marta – Nuqui
Early transfer by speedboat from the hotel to Nuqui (depends on your
flight schedule) where your guide accompanies you to the airport.
Attention: All activities described above are subject to change due to climate, tides, etc. Please program your daily activities with your local guide.
TAG 1:
Nuqui - Cabañas Beto y Marta
Abholung
durch die englisch sprechende Reiseleitung am Flughafen Nuquí und etwa 50
minütiger Transfer im Motorboot von Nuquí zur Unterkunft Cabaña Beto y Marta.
Nach einer Einführung im Hotel und einem leckeren Mittagessen, werden die
Aktivitäten der folgenden Tage besprochen (Reihenfolge und Durchfürhrung der
Aktivitäten flexibel, teils abhängig vom Klima).
Die
charmante Unterkunft, mit nur 4 Cabanas und einem umwerfenden Garten, liegt
direkt am Strand und ist der perfekte Ort um in die Natur einzutauchen und
abzuschalten.
TAG 2: Cabañas

Nachdem
das Rauschen des Regenwaldes und des Ozeans uns aufgeweckt und wir unser
Frühstück genossen haben, geht es los Richtung des Dorfes Termales. Es geht
etwa 1,5 Stunden am Strand entlang, wobei ab und an kleine Bäche und Felsen
überquert werden. Unterwegs sehen wir sicherlich einige Einheimische auf dem
Weg zur Arbeit, lokale Fischer in ihren traditionellen Kanus, und können uns
jederzeit im Meer erfrischen. In Termales erhalten wir einen Einblick in das
tägliche Leben der Einheimischen und können das angenehme Thermalbad besuchen
(Eintritt nicht inklusive).
Anschließend geht es zurück zum Hotel, wo das Mittagessen schon wartet. Der
Nachmittag steht zur freien Verfügung um den Strand zu genießen, zu surfen,
schnorcheln, Kajak zu fahren etc. (nicht inkludiert).
TAG 3: Cabañas
Beto y Marta
Nach dem
Frühstück bietet sich ein kleiner geführter Ausflug entlang des Strandes zum
etwa 30 Minuten entfernten Wasserfall Cascada del Amor an. Beim Hochlaufen wird
immer wieder der Bach überquert, nasse Füße sind also vorporogrammiert. Dauer:
ca. 1,5 h
Zurück am Hotel gibt es Mittagessen und der Nachmittag steht wieder zur freien
Verfügung.
TAG 4: Cabañas
Beto y Marta – Nuqui
Früh morgens (abhängig von der Flugzeit) Transfer im Motorboot nach
Nuquí, wo unsere Reiseleitung uns zum Flughafen begleitet.
Die Termine für die diesjährige Feria de Flores (Blumenfest) stehen fest:
Vom 28. Juli bis zum 07. August wird sich Medellin wieder in ein Meer von Blumen verwandeln!
Es ist das symbolträchtigste Fest der Stadt Medellin. 11 Tage lang versammeln sich Tausende von Menschen zu diesem Fest, das seinen Höhepunkt in der Silleteros-Parade (silleteros = Menschen, die große Blumengebinde auf dem Rücken tragen) findet und dieses Jahr zum 66 Mal stattfindet. Die Blumenmesse erinnert und ehrt die Werte von Antioquia. Während dieser Zeit lernen die Besucher der Stadt die tiefen Wurzeln der lokalen Kultur kennen und genießen ein umfangreiches Programm an Veranstaltungen, die nicht alle mit Blumen zu tun haben.
Die Blumenmesse ist das wichtigste Fest der Antioqueños und eine der größten Pflanzenschauen der Welt. Während dieser Tage blüht die Stadt auf und zeigt die traditionellen Themen ihrer Kultur. Es bringt Touristen und Antioqueños zusammen, um gemeinsam die Blumen, Gastronomie, Unterhaltung und Harmonie zu genießen. Das Programm bietet Hunderte von Aktivitäten, die das Festival bereichern, unter denen die folgenden hervorstechen:
- Die Musikveranstaltungen in der ganzen Stadt.
- Fondas de mi tierra.
- Konzerte, Musik und Tänze.
- Nationales Trova-Festival im Park der Wünsche.
- La Feria a Ritmo de Bicicleta (Festival im Rhythmus des Fahrrads), ein "Ciclopaseo" durch die Straßen von Medellín.
- Parade klassischer und antiker Autos durch die Hauptstraßen von Medellín.
- Parade der Silleteros, das Blumenspektakel der Veranstaltung.
Die Silleteros-Parade ist das zentrale Ereignis der Messe und findet am Montag, dem 7. August 2023, statt. Mit dieser Parade geht die Messe zu Ende. Mehr als 500 Landwirte tragen Millionen von Blumen auf dem Rücken, in so genannten Silletas (Blumengebinden), die bis zu 70 Kilo wiegen. Diese Tradition wird von Generation zu Generation weitergegeben. Die Silletas stellen wunderschöne Landschaften, Porträts und Botschaften mit einheimischen Werten dar. Die Route dieser Parade ist zwei Kilometer lang.

The dates for this year's Feria de Flores (flower festival) are out: from July 28th to August 07th, Medellin will once again be turned into an ocean of flowers!
It is the most emblematic celebration of the city of Medellin, Colombia. For 11 days thousands of people gather around this celebration that culminates with the Silleteros Parade (silleteros = people carrying big flower arrangements on their back), which this 2023 celebrates its 66th edition. The flower fair is meant to remember and honor the values of Antioquia. During these dates those who visit the city of Medellín experience the deep roots of the local culture and enjoy an extensive program of shows, not all of them related to flowers.
The flower fair is the main celebration of the people of Antioquia and is one of the largest horticultural events in the world. During these days the city blooms showing the ancestral themes of its culture. It brings together tourists and Antioqueños to enjoy flowers, gastronomy, entertainment and harmony. The program offers hundreds of activities that spice up the fair, among them the following stand out:
- The music stages throughout the entire city.
- Fondas de mi tierra.
- Concerts, music and dances.
- National Trova Festival in the Desires Park.
- La Feria a Ritmo de Bicicleta (festival to the rhythm of the bike), a "ciclopaseo" through the streets of Medellín.
- Classic and Antique Car Parade through the main streets of Medellín.
- Parade of Silleteros, the floral spectacle of the event.
The Silleteros Parade is the central event of the fair and takes place on Monday, August 7, 2023. With this parade, the fair comes to an end. More than 500 farmers display millions of flowers loaded on their backs in so called silletas (flower arrangements), weighing up to 70 kilos. It is a tradition that lasts from generation to generation. The silletas compose beautiful landscapes, portraits and messages with native values. The route of this parade is two kilometers long.
