Located in the southern part of Colombia,
from the foothills of the Andes to the heart of the Amazon region, the region Caquetá
impresses with its unique and diverse geography.
The extremely water-rich southern part of
Caquetá is considered an epicentre of biodiversity, the northern part as an
industrial and agricultural region, and the rainforest region and indigenous
reserves (more than 25 tribes and 30 ethnic groups) make Caquetá truly unique.
To put it in a nutshell: this "rincón
verde" (green corner) offers everything a nature lover could wish for -
rivers, mountains, plateaus, plains, hiking trails, and all this combined with
enough adventurous activities.
