For the next couple of days, we (Stephan and Torsten) are on the road, visiting different spots in Colombia to gather first hand information about the current travel situation in times of the Corona pandemia.

Some impressions from La Gitana del Mar this morning...
After an extensive breakfast we had to leave, although
Torsten did not want to. He hung like a sloth on one of the palm trees.
After a
drive partly along the Caribbean coast via Barranquilla we reached Cartagena
after about 5 hours. Cartagena is one of the most spectacular cities in Latin
America, combining Caribbean lifestyle and colonial past in an extraordinary
way. The Las Americas Beach Resort is our accommodation for the night. It is
located directly on the beach about 10 minutes from Cartagena's old town. A
perfect place to get to know the city and enjoy the beach.
