NEPTUNO ON TOUR - Day 8: Finally at the Caribbean

 

For the next couple of days, we (Stephan and Torsten) are on the road, visiting different spots in Colombia to gather first hand information about the current travel situation in times of the Corona pandemia.

DAY 8, November 25th: BARRANCABERMEJA - SANTA MARTA/TAYRONA

The desire to arrive at the Caribbean makes us leave today at 4:40 am. After a scenic drive, passing many palm tree and banana plantations, we arrived in Santa Marta in the afternoon and shortly afterwards in our great accommodation Maloka Barlovento, which is located right next to the Tayrona Nationalpark. Here, we are sitting on the elevated deck of the hotel, overlooking the sea and the river and simply relax!
