The
Colombian Government is highly interested to create a better connectivity to the
other parts of the world. Because of that, we have got some news regarding the
long distance and domestic flights in Colombia.
- On 31 of March the first KLM airplane landed in Bogotá. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday the KLM Royal Dutch Airlines operates this service to Colombia three times a week. The flight will land in Bogotá and then in Cali, before returning directly to Amsterdam.
- On 12th of September the first Turkish Airlines airplane will reach Bogotá. At this moment the company plans to operate the route Istanbul – Bogotá – Istanbul. As soon as we have got further details we will inform you.
- The Colombian Low Cost Carrier Viva Colombia will open two new routes. From 01 of June 2015 Viva Colombia is operating Cali-San Andrés-Cali and Cartagena-San Andrés-Cartagena.
