The whales have already arrived – whale watching at the Pacific Coast

A few weeks ago the first whales appeared at the Colombian parts of the Pacific Coast. The official whale watching season lasts from June to October. From Buentaventura to Bahia Solano (and many other destinations) you can witness one of the greatest wildlife attractions of Colombia. You can see mainly humpback whales. Adults of this species range in length from 12 to 16 metres and weigh approximately 36.000 kilograms.

With a high certainty you can see the whales, who recently gave birth after migrating north from the South Pole to the Colombia Pacific Coast.
