Today we would like to present
another social Project that is directly supported by us. Of course you and your
clients are able to visit the Project for example during a Full Day Citytour in
Bogota. In Bogota you often hear the people talking about the “rich north” and
the “poor south”, but generally this distinction is too simple. The Project “Hogar
de Paz” (Home of peace) is working with very vulnerable children (5 to 10 years)
in some districs in the northern parts of Bogota.
Often the parents of the
children are working full-time and do not have sufficient time to take care of
their children the bigger part of the day. The Project gives the kids a safe
place to be after school. They kids have got the possibility to go to the
installations of “Hogar de Paz” to do the homework together with the tutors, to
play, to cook and eat together. An other important cornerstone of the
philosophy of “Hogar de Paz” is the education by art and sport.
