As of August 8th, due to maintenance, the
Lagoon of Guatavita, located a couple of kilometers north of Bogota, will be
closed for public access. A decision, that came on quite short notice this
week. Tourist wont be allowed to access the lagoon for a so far undefined
period of time, rumour has it for about 20 days.

scheduled in their itinerary, we will get in touch with you to sort out the
situation.
