Closing of Pueblito in Tayrona Nationalpark

Like other sacred sites in Colombia before, the indigenous village Pubelito situated in Nationalpark Tayrona will be closed to the public. This was announced by the authorities recently and the closing is effective as of now.
Pueblito is a sacred site of the local indigenous Kogui ethnicity and to avoid any kind of exploitation, shall stay inaccessible for tourism from now on.
So far the closure seems to be final, however we will keep you informed about any changes.

Other excursions like visits to the beaches of Cabo San Juan, Arrecifes or Piscinas, within Tayrona, are possible without any restrictions!

As possible alternatives we also offer tours outside of Tayrona, e.g. to Taironaka, or a visit of the Kogui village Duonamake.

Please contact your local travel agent to find a suitable alternative for you clients.
