Museum in Bogota - Casa de Moneda de Colombia

We keep on presenting different museums in Bogota which are not so famous like the Gold Museum. The Casa de Moneda tells the visitor the history of the currency of Colombia up to today's Colombian peso. Fittingly, the museum is located in the former mint of Bogota. 

In addition to various coins and medals dating back to the 17th century, there are also former coin-cutting machines, scales and documents. The museum is located next to the “Museo de Botero” in the Old City “La Candelaria”.
