Whalewatching at the Pacific Coast

In June the first whales will appear at the Colombian parts of the Pacific Coast. From Buentaventura to Nuqui and Bahia Solano (and many other destinations) you can witness one of the greatest wildlife attractions of Colombia. You can see mainly humpback whales. Adults of this species range in length from 12 to 16 metres and weigh approximately 36.000 kilograms. The official whale watching season lasts from June to October.

With a high certainty you can see the whales, who recently gave birth after migrating north from the South Pole to the Colombia Pacific Coast. For any further information and the latest offers to get to know this unique coastline of Colombia please contact us.
