Poison arrow frog

The Chocó corridor constitutes perhaps the most biological diverse region on the planet. Here in Nuqui we can find this little frog who could actually kill a human beeing with its poison which they secrete through their skin only when they get stressed - they have a good temperament though.
These amphibians are often called "dart frogs" due to the indigenous use of their toxic secretions to poison the tips of blowdarts. Ask Neptuno for Pacific Coast journeys and discover these beautiful animals.
