Return of the Whales

It´s that time of the year again...as of June the first whales will be returning to the Colombian Pacific coast. On a whalewatching tour between June and October you can see the biggest mammals playing around up close. From the bays of Bahia Solano and Nuqui, down to Buenaventura further south, you can admire these impressive sea dwellers, mainly humpback whales, in their natural habitat.
Perhaps you are lucky and even meet some dolphins or turtles on the way.
















By the way....a trip to the Pacific coast is not only worth it due to the whales, but also due to numerous activities like jungle hikes, stand up paddling, beach walks, surfing, etc, not even to mention the fascinating beauty and tranquility of this region.
