Learn Spanish in Colombia – a personal review

With this short message we just like to tell you that we are pleased to organize a language holiday for your clients. Colombia is a great spot to learn Spanish. Especially in Bogota the language is spoken very clearly what makes it a perfect city to get a feeling for Spanish. Beside Bogota we also offer language courses in Medellin and Cartagena. Other cities and destinations on request.

Here is a small report from on of our last language students who had classes for almost 4 weeks:

“The Language School is located in Bogota´s nice and busy neighborhood “Chapinero”, which is pretty easy to get to. After a quick test of your level, you will get to your appropriate group. The groups have different sizes, depending on the total number of students, but normally the size of the group is between two to eight persons. The course starts in the morning from at 8:00 am and ends at 1:00 pm. In the afternoon you have got the possibility to take private lessons which are divided in two parts. One has its own focus on grammar; the other lesson is focused on speaking Spanish in different real life scenarios. The whole lessons are held in Spanish and all the teachers are locals from Colombia. I enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere in the school and during the breaks we were used to eat something together or just have a nice Colombian coffee. During the week they school offers different free activities like Salsa lessons or visiting of famous sights in Bogotá or even the possibility to engage yourself socially. At the weekend, you are able to join different trips to the beautiful surrounding of Bogotá, for example the lagoon of “Guatavita” or the cascade “La Chorrera”.
